VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (QCF) Attendance

The course involves an initial day at the academy during which the qualification will be explained in detail. You will explore how the evidence for your Assessor qualification will be collected and
presented.

Following the training you will work independently to complete the work packs to gather the evidence required.

There will be tutor support and follow up assessment.

Course duration

One initial days training followed by up to a maximum of three months to gather evidence, complete the assessments and present your portfolio of assessment.

Online
You will receive a work pack and access to the student portal.
You will work through the lessons at your own pace to complete the tasks.

Please note
For both options you need to be in the position of having learners available for you to assess
to provide evidence for your e-portfolio needed for your qualification.

Or

You will need to be working with or have an agreement with an approved centre who is offering VTCT NVQ or VRQ qualifications, and have access to the learners and systems at that centre. (We can arrange this for you at the academy )

• Questioning skills SMART targets
• Ensuring validity ,reliability authenticity, sufficiently and accuracy
assessment
• Recognition of Prior Learning –RPL
• assessment planning
• Portfolio development
• Code of conduct, appeals procedure and standardisation
requirements
The course is for educators at new or existing VTCT centres.
This course is for you if you need to become a qualified Assessor in order to assess NVQ and/or VRQ
qualifications.
• In order begin working towards becoming assessor you must
Hold level 2 and 3 in the area you wish to assess

Or

Have substantial knowledge and working time in the industry.

Cost £495 per delegate for the qualification registration, training, tutor support over the three month period, assessment and certification.
